News from Chinook Winds

I am the PR Co-ordinator for Chinook Winds Greyhound Rescue Foundation and we currently have 10 Greyhounds and 1 Greyhound/Wolfhound mix available for adoption. Please stop by our website and check the "Available Dogs" page to see pics and read a bit about them. www.chinookwindsgreyhounds.org

We are really, really excited about a couple of upcoming events. Next weekend ( Feb 14-15 ) we will be at the Red Deer Pet Expo at the Westerner. We are so grateful that they are donating a booth so that we can educate the public about the wonders of sharing your life with a Greyhound!

We will also be at the Red Deer and District Kennel Club's Spring Show, which is usually the first weekend in April. I will post the dates closer to the event. This is also held at the Westerner.

Monkey Update

Monkey had surgery yesterday to remove the cyst and is doing well. He had a full blood panel done and everything is normal, which is what I expected yet always good news. He enjoyed a nap on the couch with me last night and is trying hard to be good and not chew on his bandage.
